Strangely changed

Brave & Reckless

That cold January night
something changed forever
when she stepped out
into the cold air
on her return hours later
she no more talked of
the voices she heard
or the faces that terrified her
there was an eerie serenity
about her demeanour
I looked askance at the little stranger
nowadays I watch her helplessly.
