Wolves sing under the moon.
The wolves of winter
howled in three-part harmony
twas a hard day’s night
the moon is still dark
not wanting to face conflict
lunar moodiness
stardust swept the sky
the still gelid air glimmered
no encore needed
the moon shines brightly
welcoming the come what may
cosmos in rhythm
the wolves of winter
howled in three-part harmony
the eve of all eves
is upon us, and
to all a good night
